Any person residing in Austin, TX? I need help finding a place to live ..?
Hello, I am admitted to graduate school at UT Austin and I'm looking for a great place to live. I grew up in a big city, so I'm very accustomed to the atmosphere, where (in any mall, supermarket, restaurants … u know what I mean) is close to where I live. I heard that the Wild West and Arboretum are good places to live. What area do you recommend for me? I love Also a safe neighborhood, where I can enjoy as well. For information, I will use my own vehicle for transportation. Also, if you have specific apartment We recommend that you want to be even higher. Thx.
You've never had good advice and not so good. Not sure what you're looking to spend from May, so some of these changes. 1. This page contains a map of apartments throughout the city. The color code for the car that you can judge how they want to pay more than the amount the wheel, you have to do. http://everythingaustinapartments.com/ probably give a better idea of your options, but I will speak through some neighborhoods. 2. Far West is good for some students. It's a little farther from campus, but the bus runs out there for UT that can save some money for rent and still have class. Since you have your own car that does nothing, but you can still save some money if this is important. 3. Arboretum is fine, but is more away and the rent is cheaper. Probably no real advantage compared to other places, a graduate student. 4. Hyde Park is located near campus, but is a bit least "college-y" than elsewhere near campus. None of the malls near real, but it has a lot of unique shops and restaurants. Great part of the city of Austin. It can be very passable. This page has more detailed information and links to some of the apartments in the region. Http: / / www.squidoo.com / Hydepark 5. If money is not the central object is the way forward. Impossible to overcome on all sides, but not cheap. This page also has links to places in downtown City http://www.squidoo.com/apartments-downtown-austin 6. I think SOCO (South Congress), south of downtown could be a good idea for you. Less expensive than the downtown and is very walkable. A disc is not bad or on campus. Good Luck
