Has anyone used cloth diapers? Is it better?

I live in austin, tx and I want to use the diaper service for my newborn baby. Im due in February. Has anyone used this service and if so what is it like. I just want to know if cloth diapers are easy to use. I know its a little more work but Im ok with that I just really want to save money and do whats best for the baby.

One thing that you may realize though is that washing your own really isn’t that hard or complicated, and could save you more money, while letting you choose different kinds of diapers like bumgenius, fuzzibunz, bamboozle, sugar peas.. Services usually only do prefolds.

Washing diapers isn’t that hard – a hot water wash and cold rinse with 1/4 of the normal quantity of detergent and you’re done. Some add an extra rinse to that, but you can taylor the wash routine ot your needs.
