What are the advantages and disadvantages of living in Austin, TX?

I'm considering moving to Austin, Texas, for various reasons, mainly about the quality of life. I am currently living in San Francisco Bay and feel the high traffic and high cost of living (cost home ownership, electricity, gas) among other things .. and I am looking for a place where both weaker. I like the time Bay Area, but I heard that mild weather in Austin, especially in the Hill Country. And of course, the fact that no taxes to the state any more … but is offset by high property taxes. Thanks in advance for your help!

Austin is one of my favorite cities. San Francisco, but you are right .. is expensive! I lived in Houston all my life, but I'm going to Austin when I can. and my cousin has lived there about six years and my brother had lived there for a couple of them. PROS I hope this helps, you're right .. Austin weather is not bad. Of course, from San Francisco will get used to it. but it is much better than Houston. bone winters are beautiful and cold, but not perfect. There are days when feels very hot, but most of the year you want to sit outside journée. everything is a lovely city. neat little shops and beautiful buildings. Nice its march around the capital and the Buildings of age. If you are a cyclist Austin is good grand. system bus public.-music festivals and many of the festivals of fun, that sometimes are free. EXA. city limits of Austin. game was a battle of words. great-great-house culture, I think the reasonable cost of living. parts are expensive, but there some areas that are pretty cheap .. esp. against San Fran, not as touristy as San Fran-Nice trees, which could continue forever CONS "Well, I am angry with all things UT Longhorn crazy, but you can learn to avoid it. Traffic can be bad, but I love can also be avoided. I believe that if you love yourself as San Fran Austin.
