Where can I buy ham common type of electronic components in Austin, Texas?
I have not been active in amateur radio for several years and all my old favorite pieces of home electronics are closed. I want a list of 3 or 4 stores in Austin, TX. that the actions of some of the usual elements of electronic-type ham.
1. Austin Amateur Radio Supply on I-35 south to 290E 2. MC Howard Electronics near 183 and Burnet 3. Fry's Electronics, Mo-Pac & Parmer 4. Bantam Electronics Burnet between BRAKER and 183 5. Radio Shack if you're really desperate. That's as far as the shops. You just Belton Swapmeet losing the one week and a half. Go to http://www.austinhams.org and look under the Events section for other events. The club has a Swapmeet in early December, and there is a Swapmeet in Smithville around February. Come to breakfast on Saturday at 7 pm at Waterloo Ice House on Burnet, south of Highway 183 for more information.
