Will I need a business license to sell my products at the Farmers Market?
I am applying for a position in one of the market in Austin. I know I need to register to obtain a tax identification number, but also need a business license
Depends on the state and products sold, but it seems that if not now, soon. animal origin products require a certificate of origin. It is unclear whether this is a regulatory issue, or simply generating revenue. Here in Indiana, normal old farmer has been charged with a business tax, no matter what you sell and to whom.
