Getting to graduate school with a poor average?
I attended the University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Economics (specialization in the economies of Latin America) and Spanish. I'll start my second year of teaching Spanish Side this fall, but I'm trying to find a way to go to graduate school next fall and study in some kind of foreign policy agenda. My average was very low – at 2.6 to be exact, but I was very sick and spent most of my past 1.5 years in school and out of hospital for heart surgery the summer after graduation graduation. My question is, what I can do to combat my poor average to get into a decent graduate program?
