After being knocked out by Ray Austin in March to compete in two rounds, Jeremy "The Beast" Bates, a resident of Parkersburg, Kentucky, had almost pulled the towel in a boxing career. But he knows his name a long list of short list, so when I finally got the call, he took the opportunity to become the only enemy four times heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield wanted to measure their competence in rapid decline. The Beast is 11/01/1921, but is 18 kb and a decent right. The problem is that every time he entered, he was severely beaten by the likes of Brian Minto, Sedreck Fields, Leo Nolan, Andre Purlette, and Kirk Johnson. His only bright spot seems to have been shot a second round of Jeff Lally in 2004. To his credit, his amateur record was 50 to 26 and turned pro after being beaten by Dominic Guinn difficult ..

Of course, no need to talk about his opponent. There is little I can add to the saga of "The Real Deal "except to say that the soon-to-be 44, Holyfield, 02.08.1938, looked terrible in his last fight with Larry Donald November 13, 2004 at Madison Square Garden. But later, Donald was given another "Beast", the latter named Nikolai Valuev, all he could handle. More than Holyfield is very high quality of his opposition in general, but the coin has two sides.

So now, a companion of 32 years and hard work insurance salesman in Parkersburg Potts is a legend past. He did all that time off without pay, if you have a family and mouths to feed. But how many opportunities like this last one never to return? He knows what a win can do for him.

As for the fight itself, it seems to … even for a fighter who has not looked good in recent years … but do not let Holyfield's broken body fool you. What is reflection and resistance? When enough is being done? These questions are probably answered Friday night.

I know one thing, however. If I was in the corner of the Beast, my advice would be right behind him …. rush him … overwhelm him and the cup to get disoriented. Then download the right and follow the download until the fight was stopped. On the contrary, if I was on the corner of Evander, my advice be ready for this type of load and tie with a power drain and body shots to the body in its full, soft middle section. I advise then accelerate the pace of enter the second, which, based on the story of Jeremy, it seems, when it is most vulnerable. It's really kind of boils down to one or two rounds for me. If the animal can bear load, who knows? If Evander can carry a load, you must have an easy time. All Holyfield suggests a dunk, but fortunately, not a type of Tyson-McNeely. We all know that very soon. Then "The Beast" become a "Rocky."

"It's not the size of a man, but the size of your heart that matters. "Evander Holyfield
