H2B visa to sales manager? So lost!?

I'm from England, 45 years and want to go later this year in the United States to continue Sell my career. My goal is to go to the Austin area in Texas and become a sales manager. However, due to the nature of H2B work visas necessary, before being transferred to H1B after a year or two, depending on whether we are successful in the lottery of H-1B visa. My question is, it is possible to obtain the H2B visa for that. Your help is greatly appreciated especially after seeing the complexity of the immigration system is!

Totally unlikely that you qualify for H-2B status. H2B is for seasonal employment or temporarily to any United States citizen or qualified is available. The position of director of sales other than temporary. For more information regulation on H-2 see 8CFR 214. (H) uscis.gov.
