Austin Robert or Robert Leon? Which sounds better with our other sons?
Austin wouldn’t have a nickname, and we would call Robert Leon “Leo”
Our big brothers to be are Timothy Marcel and Maxwell Andre. They both have French middle names and American first names. Robert can be English or French, Austin is very unheard of in countries outside of the United States. Leon is another place name (along with Austin) – it is the name of a town in France.
Love the sound of Robert Leon paired with the other boy’s names…It seems more consistent with the other two children’s name patterns. Also, just think Austin has been a bit over used..If I had a dime for every little boy delivered just by the Dr. I work for – that was named Austin, Justin, Dallas, Cody, Tristan, Dustin, Trenton or Denton – I’d be a millionaire. No offense to anyone who chose those names-they are just very commonly chosen ones. I think Robert Leon “Leo” would have flair to it. As coincidence would have it – helped a friend choose Maxwell “Max” and Kittrell “Kit” as names for her two boys. Strange even as babies how their personalities just seemed to fit with their names…and even ore so-now that they are older. Best of luck with your delivery of course but also the naming of your son when it comes to filling out the birth certificate!
