Academic appeal letter?
I really need help writing a letter to return to my freshmen year of college. I was accepted University of Texas at Austin for six months on, so have not accepted my offer of admission. In addition, during the reign of the last 6 months I have been of sexual abuse by my father and was forced to leave my house half way through my senior year. Given these circumstances, I had to put my future school plans and professional side. My academic advisor at UT told me that my admission may be reinstated upon receipt of a detailed letter of appeal, however, I do not know how to write an explicit explanation of what made me neglect my acceptance of admission. Can you help me please?
I hope you are looking for any advice for what happened. I'm sure you're dealing with much anguish and employ the help of a professional counselor will help you to meet some than cross. That said, may be able to describe the severity of the issue without going into too much detail. You could say, "a serious situation in my life was born six months ago for which I am currently seeking advice, and I could start my UT presence as planned, "Good Luck -. I really hope you can get this work.
