Any college recommendations?
Okay, I’m about to start my junior year in high school and my dad wants me to start thinking about colleges. I really don’t have a clue where I want to go. I’m an average A student with maybe one B every now and then and I’m in the Science & Medicine Academy at my school (I heard colleges look into that). My GPA is a 3.99. I want to study to become a Psychiatrist and I live in Austin, Texas. What college do you think would accept me?
You should easily get into the University of Texas. Your father is right in that you should think about college. It would be nice to spend senior year already knowing where you’re going to go. The advantage of applying early to college is that you’ll have a head start in applying for financial aid afterward.
