clinical laboratory scientist?

Hello. I am a young at UT Austin and I recently changed my molecular cell biology major and clinical laboratory scientist and I'm not really sure if I made the right decision. I really like biology at the cellular level especially in the related field to human health. What kind of message is there, after getting my degree in CLS? Does anyone with a CLS degree do the research? and what payment is the avarage? If I can get my degree in CLS TX .. Is it only accredited in this state? Thank you!

Medical Technologists are often called physicians and researchers in the laboratory. MT is often grouped with TLM laboratory technicians (medical). You may find it helpful to talk with a technical working group in the area. Most MTs are happy to answer questions. Call a local hospital laboratory and ask to speak with a Med Tech Additionally, you may want speak with a counselor or coordinator of education for the labor camps to the extent possible. Visit the ASIC website for opportunities after BS. It specializes in the 4 departments (blood bank, hematology, chemistry and microbiology) There are a lot of technical bench to carry out the investigation. To search for other person you can be sure of finding a job. If you want to do your own research, you must have a doctorate. The salary varies depending on where you are. Industry pays better than other options, most of the time. I do not know the requirements for the degree of TX. I have a degree in biology and chemistry from the UA and a school certificate Medical Technology is accredited. I also considered ASCP registered nationwide. You are some states also require that you take a state record also … but with the shortage of MTS in the workforce increasingly recognized the ASCP alone. As for the pay scale … The most recent survey of the field is in an article that can be seen on the ASIC website. Hope this helps. Good luck.
