Where is a good place for a holiday in Texas?

I am a college student looking for some spring break fun. By Of course, I have not much money. Looking for something short drive from Texas, and I'm pretty tired of hitting the beaches / parks / and museums. I know there are plenty of things to do in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin, but I do not know why. (And I'm not for another 21 months, Oklahoma Indian casinos are out … unfortunately) suggestions?

Just go to 18 casinos in Durant, Oklahoma. but … San Antonio is a fun place to go. There are plenty of things to do there like Sea World, Six Flags, Riverwalk, Alamo and surrounding areas, the caves are an explorer.
